Tintilla Angus 2010 Semillon
This was the first of the ’10 whites that I have tasted and I did enjoy the fresh zesty quality to this Semillon. It is a very young Hunter Semillon but it is not all bones as there is some ripe fruit showing through. Made in the traditional style, it is dry, medium bodied with plenty of lemon and lime citrus plus some green apple and pear. This is imminently drinkable now particularly with oysters ‘au naturel’ or nudey oysters dressed in some lemon juice or you can put it down for a later date to get some deeper resonance.
