Taylors Jaraman 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
The Jaraman range is produced from a combination of fruit from two regions. This Cabernet has 64% Clare fruit topped up by fruit from Australia’s classic region for Cab Sauv – Coonawarra. This combination gives a rich ripeness with just a hint of minty character coming from the Coonawarra fruit. The result is a gorgeous full bodied and deep ruby wine packed with fragrant vanilla, cassis, blueberry and toasty spice characters firm tannins. It is a densely packed classic from Taylors and you could keep it for 5 or so years before pulling it out of the cellar but it is very drinkable now. In fact, this is a wine that could soon become a favourite for just kicking back with special friends.
