O’Leary Walker 2012 Polish Hill Riesling

Nick Walker & David O’Leary are the winemakers behind the label.  Their Rieslings are always smartly priced & while they have the characteristic acid drive there is also some softer rounder edges making them easy on approach.

In its relative infancy, it is just about to be released, there is so much floral intensity in this wine with fresh lime juice with some minerality & slight pithiness keeping it together. After the intensity of fruit, the wine sits lightly & lingeringly on the palate. Enjoy it young or keep it for a decade – your choice.
