Lindemans 2006 St George Cabernet Sauvignon
The St. George Cabernet Sauvignon has all the classic Coonawarra characters. Aromas of blackberry, vanilla, toasty oak, spicy cinnamon, mint and savoury abound. Dry tannins, a fuller body, and a fine structure combined with flavours of dark mint chocolate, blackcurrant, toast and some savoury characters. While it would be a fine drink now, I am sure that it will continue to improve in the cellar into the next decade or more.
