Grant Burge Hillcot Merlot 2010

A rich but fresh Barrossan with sweetly ripe fruit and chewy oak, Grant Burge keeps offering bang for your buck.  Distinctively Merlot, and not just with its vivacious purple hues, the ripe plum, dark chocolate and clove on the nose and palate is supported by sweet oak.

It is fuller bodied with succulent tannins and a longer finish. Good drinking with a juicy steak or keep for another couple of years to bring out more of the earthier characters.
