Fox Gordon Abby Viognier 2010

From the producers of ‘Sassy’ Sauvignon Blanc comes the Abby with gentler curves and pace.  Viognier is well known for the luxurious aromatics and there is no disappointment here in the ripe peach, tropical notes and some very attractive spicy florals.

A fleshy Viognier that eludes to roundness without oiliness and delivers fruit right to the front of the palate all the way along. The intensity of fruit is well balanced and fills the mouth with flavour and texture.  I can personally attest that it works very well with Indian spiced chicken salad as this is a wine that is just made for food.
