The oak is a subtle support for the fruit making this wine lively & interesting, pretty much what you want in dining companionship. Dry and crisp with a light delicate creamy texture. It does not have quite the complexity that you would expect for the price if you were buying it from a bottle shop but it is a good quality wine that you should enjoy now particularly on a very hot afternoon [...] This Chardonnay is filled with firm but ripe tropical fruit character – more lychee than pineapple with some supporting vanilla backbone and adorned by some floral notes. There is plenty of pineapple and mineral characters backed by some light toast. With some zesty and refreshing acid this is a modern style Chardonnay that is definitely easy [...] An easy to drink fizz with a touch of sweetness to help it to go down. Being Chardonnay dominant, the characters are of pear and stonefruit and are complemented by some biscuity aromas. A refreshing wine for a warm summers day or try it with some Thai style fish cakes. This wine has a nice concentration of fruit and weight and will go very well with food. It is just a touch off dry but is well balanced overall with a lingering finish.
