The Shaw Vineyard Estate in Murrumbateman, is one of the higher vineyards in the district at 640 m. However, Graeme Shaw takes advantage of slope and aspect to deliver ripeness & freshness to his wines. This is a good softly drinking wine with a crisp finish and honeyed citrus & stonefruit characters with some additional sweet almost candied pineapple flavours. Enjoy this wine with some lightly salt and peppered squid or a Caesar salad with all the trimmings.
