Di Giorgio 2008 Sparkling Pinot Noir

Made in the traditional method (Methode Traditionale) from Coonawarra Pinot Noir grapes … and why not, when they produce a sparkling of this quality?    This fizz has a pleasing salmon colour and fine bubbles.  The aromas and flavours are redolent of strawberries with some light  creamy yeastiness and a touch of savouriness.  A dry sparkler that has a nice crisp finish – a good fizz for food or without.
