This Vermentino has a silkiness with a crispness with some great street appeal. The nutty peach & pear character is complemented by a fresh citrusy zing & a long fine finish. With its refreshing acid hit it is a natural companion to food, particularly with fish & seafood. So perhaps it is no surprise that this is a medium bodied Merlot with a generous soul. There is plenty of fresh plum spice fun to be had here. A powerful muscly style of wine. It is rich with blackfruit, chocolate, with some coconut & cinnamon. The tannins are supple & the finish is long. I think that this wine needs just a little more time but it is certainly ripe for drinking now too. Date: 30th August 2011 Price: $38 Value: [...] 
A lighter style of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc with zesty lemon, apple & pear fruit that dips its hat to tropical ripeness. It was the freshness that appealed to me. It is refreshingly crisp. Displaying the aromatics of a warm summer garden, the characters of this wine could be described as a delicately herbed salad tossed with ripe apple, pear & melon with a zingy lemon dressing. It will keep your interest along its crisp clean long length. Date: 1st July 2011 Price: $18 Value: [...] 
A very dense and juicy Cabernet, punching well above its value. Plenty of cassis fruit & chocolatey earthiness with a long sweet length. A good wine for any purpose that you can throw at it. There is plenty of ripe passionfruit & peach in this Sauvignon Blanc, the time in oak & on lees has also imparted a light creaminess while still keeping the varietal refreshing acidity. The softer style makes it a succulent wine to share with friends. The price is not too shabby either. Date: 9th May [...] A fresh, densely powerful & lush wine with the purple hue of youth. Its peppery clove & blackberry character is still tightly held and needs some time to open & flourish. I really enjoy this freshness now, but it is a good cellaring style.
