This supple wine delivers rich mid palate concentration of ripe red fruit, mint, pepper & a whiff of black jelly beans without the whack of alcohol that can be achieved in warmer climates. This rates high in the foodability stakes. Its intensity makes my mouth water for something like a venison pie [...] 
Rich with sweet black fruit, cedar, tobacco & spice. Elegantly bodied with a supple length, this is a wine that will accompany that roast rack of lamb that you are planning or perhaps a venison pie. Leabrook have moved to the 2007 vintage now but there may be some 2006 still [...] The elegance of this wine is enhanced further with the Viognier, wrapping warm spice & pepper notes around a soft berry fruit & floral core. The intensity is generous while the body is not overpowering & will not leave you with a feeling of regret if relish in the luxury of more than one [...] 
Sweet, medium bodied without that cloying mouth feel – just the way that Port should be. There is plenty of rich spicy cloves, chocolate & ripe red fruit. The Port is fresh, the tannins are typically grippy & the fruit is ripe, lush & long on the palate. Enjoy this wine with friends [...] 
A powerful muscly style of wine. It is rich with blackfruit, chocolate, with some coconut & cinnamon. The tannins are supple & the finish is long. I think that this wine needs just a little more time but it is certainly ripe for drinking now too. Date: 30th August 2011 Price: $38 Value: [...] 
A smooth & softly drinking Clare red with no sharp edges. There is some delicious minty blackcurrant & liquorice character that is satisfyingly ripe & juicy. A good wine with food. Date: July 2011 Price: $22 Value: $$$ Drink: Now – 7 years The wine certainly has a juicy presence of its own – ripe red fruit provides a lift to the classic richer, deeper darker fruit character. The tannins make themselves known providing some texture but are in no way overwhelming. It is a wine that will nicely accompany food but is comfortable without. Date: August 2011 Price: $18 Value: $$$ Drink: Now [...] This Pinot is typical cherry & spice with some earthy savouriness. It is just coming into its warm spicy prime & is juicy and as silky as you could wish for in a Pinot Noir. Date: May 2011 Price: $ Value: $$ Drink: Now – 3 years A wine with great concentration of character in its cassis & cedary, cinnamon spice & earthy chocolate depths. It is oh! so youthful at the moment but is approachably smooth already. This is a wine that can stand up to great debates over Sunday roast lunch or policy making contemplation. Date: February 2011 Price: [...] Jam packed full of fresh spicy plums & dark cherry fruit that explodes into your mouth bringing about that smile of pleasure.
