This Beaujolais is an old favourite of mine. It is vibrantly coloured in the glass and the aromatics are very pretty. Dark cherry and ripe plums with cinnamon, lavender and even a whiff of violets reward you.  Elegantly medium bodied, intensely concentrated fruit with some chalky soft tannins make it a grand companion for food. Definitely a wine that I enjoy with some saucisson and herbed creamy cheese on a day with just a bite of chill to it.
