De Bortoli La Boheme 2011 Pinot Noir Rosé

The second vintage of this pale rosé after being first released in 2010 to launch the first the Rosé Revolution – a celebration of Australia’s dry Rosés. It caused quite a stir then & the second vintage continues to set precedents.
The colour is as delicate as the peach blush of a cheek. Pinot fruit delivers cherry, strawberry fruit with an edge of savouriness. The body is lighter & it is most assuredly dry. So silky smooth with such textural sleekness make this rosé the pleasure of a warm evening.
