d’Arenberg High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

A big red lover’s wine from Chester Osborn and his team that has all the hallmarks of quaffability. Richly ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, and earthy choc mint a-plenty.  The High Trellis is fuller in body with a sweet generous length that finishes with a lick of heat.  The fine grainy tannins are approachable now but will also smooth out with mid term cellaring.  Traditional English Sunday lunch with all the trimmings would be a good accompaniment with this wine.
