Collector Marked Tree Red 2011 is Alex McKay’s latest release with fruit from the region close to Canberra’s wine heart. Even before the first sip there is a bouquet of garden herbs for the considered wine lover amongst the peppery red fruits. Fresh and fruity, Marked Tree Red is elegantly structured with supple tannins and generous mid palate.
While very food friendly, it certainly does not need it and when enjoyed with friends and will not overpower the conversation in any way.
