Audrey Wilkinson 2008 Rose
A bright ruby in the glass with distinct salmon hints, this rose has the delicate aroma of strawberry. It is a wine that will go perfectly with the warm afternoon sunshine having a crisp acid and the cherry and strawberry fruit are offset by some savouriness coming from the Shiraz & Malbec in the blend. Not being overly alcoholic means that it should not creep up and hit you with an alcoholic kick as some roses can do.
Being slightly off dry, this rose is a good match for food, particularly spicy food.
