This is a Gris in that it is fleshy and plush with a slight bronze which is bang on varietal but is still quite tight and lean. The grapes for this wine were sourced from Ant Moore’s home vineyard, Ants Nest Like Today I have had an epiphany. By now you may have noticed that I often recommend a particular wine as a ‘good alternative to a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc’… I have certainly not hidden the fact that I find many Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs like an acid bath on sensitive teeth – a bit overwhelming and sometimes [...] This small family run Tasmanian winery has to be one of the finds of the year!
