Malbec is not a common grape in Australia and it is not often that you will see it unblended, although, in saying that there are probably more Argentine straight Malbecs available than Australian. But this one & a Sparkling version by Peterson’s are both worth Like This is a wine that brings to mind Roast Beef & Yorkshire Puds. Being a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (14%), Cabernet Franc (12%), Malbec (5%) & Shiraz (5%) nothing about this wine is straight forward except that it is rather tasty and that immediately you taste it you think of food. Even the Cabernet [...] A bright ruby in the glass with distinct salmon hints, this rose has the delicate aroma of strawberry. It is a wine that will go perfectly with the warm afternoon sunshine having a crisp acid and the cherry and strawberry fruit are offset by some savouriness coming from the Shiraz & Malbec in the blend.
